Description

The “Volkswagen parts delivery notes” interface adds the orders that do not exist in the system with a certain type of order reported in the data file that dealers receive from VW. Then they are mutually satisfied. This is the information reported in the integration with Autopart.

This interface takes data on the orders, quantities, and types of orders for VW to analyze data and generate order suggestions for the dealer. This is done with some types of parts. For parts with high turnover, the orders are generated automatically, and the OEM can send them directly to the dealer. Therefore, Autopart receives historical and daily information to generate a knowledge base of parts sales behavior (seasonality, popularity, etc.)

A file with all transactions is sent daily, and the VW dealer receives a purchase suggestion from Autopart. The dealer could also receive orders for parts with high turnover without the need for dealer approval. In this way, VW aims to determine the optimum parts inventory.
